In a recent article written by John Gallagher, FreightWaves, he discusses the ATRI report where smaller carriers are deeply impacted by inflation. Ignacio Araya, owner of Aora Cargo told FreightWaves, “Business is getting increasingly difficult. We are paying over $4 a gallon in some states we operate, where last year it was $2. Within months I’ve seen inflation in equipment prices go through the roof.”
